 Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.

Hey Lovelies!! Good day to you all...

We are 4 days away from the most loved month of the Year.

We know the jam-packed schedule we will be going through. Amidst all that hustle, we do not want our mind loaded and pressured when it's given to our Lord.

I have a minimal planner set here just for all of us to jot down some tasks / duas / reminders for the day/tasks to do / daily goals and affirmations and Eid preps.

No much content but a very minimal one that may be necessary for our daily mindful check.

I hope you find this helpful, My Main motive is not to spend much time planning and putting our time into something that might take our precious minutes/hours/seconds away rather we can spend on doing the most beneficial deeds and gain the Rewards of Allah Almighty. The planner is just a source to keep us on track and set reminders for what we need to focus on not just for the day but for the rest of our lives. insha'Allah.

Reflection

Dependence on Allah over every situation of Life.

Part 1

Allah Almighty has blessed us all a life to live it a rightful way so as to reach a brighter destination.
Life brings so many situations, chapters and conditions. Happy, sad, stressing, joyous, frustrating and much more...that's normal. That's how its designed, but every design of Allah has a hidden beautiful
wisdom. It is upon us on how we react and work over it... I suppose it may be a little hard because of our Nafs, but the power of our heart and mindful intention can definitely help us to take a control of it.

* Happiness is attained at the End.

Oh Allah, I ask you for A Good End

Just as they say, study well to score well in your exams. Our life is as such, move ahead righteously to score well in the Akhira. That is the End we need to look up to.

Those who combine faith and righteous actions, Allah has promised them a good life in the dunya and the Akhirah.
Good deeds have a secret remedy, they purify hearts eventually, they straighten up behavior and help us be grateful to Allah and increase the dependence on Allah over ll sort of condition.

Although a Faithful believer may be afflicted by many trails and tribulations, harms, depression, sadness or any downfall...Their reliance on Allah Almighty will level them up and the they will surely achieve the fruit of a good life in Dunya and here after. In'sha'Allah. Patience for the sake of Allah is a form of Ibadah.

Our Deen always encourages us to be content with the bounties of Allah Almighty, His favors and mercy.

We need to be mindful to be satisfied with what we are destined and not compare ourselves with those above us rather look up to those below us. For that will bring calmness, Shukr and comfort to the heart indeed.

Happiness is attained in Kindness towards the creation.

For getting rid of the stress, depression and frustration in life is by showing kindness towards the creation of Allah.
Sincere generosity definitely guarantees Allah's rewards. Allah Almighty eases for him the path of hurdles and expands the guidance to move forward profusely.

Kindness also wards off any evil and negative emotions.

There may be any kind of actions in order to achieve Allah's pleasure;
may it be watering the plant, feeding the birds, helping a neighbor, help a child get something done, serving the parents anything.

All such deeds done with a pure heart and wholly for Allah wards of the worry. That's purely the truth.

* Happiness is in focusing on the present.

Past is something that wouldn't come back, being sad on what happened in the past and worrying what will happen in future will take off the focus from the present and we'll eventually end up not living the life we need to at the current position.

Correcting ourselves from the past mistakes to avoid in future will help us live mindfully and majorly dependening on Allah.

It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:
"The Messenger of Allah (๏ทบ) said: 'The strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than the weak believer, although both are good. Strive for that which will benefit you, seek the help of Allah, and do not feel helpless. If anything befalls you, do not say, "if only I had done such and such" rather say "Qaddara Allahu wa ma sha'a fa'ala (Allah has decreed and whatever he wills, He does)." For (saying) 'If' opens (the door) to the deeds of Satan.'

Thinking and worrying develops harmful laziness, depression and distances us from Allah Almighty.
Any thing that worries us, no matter what it may be keep a deep reliance on Allah. Make good efforts to keep a good relationship with Allah. That will definitely  be a major reason behind acquiring Happiness.

Here are few daily Adhkars that helps on warding off worries, depression and Anxiety:

“ุฃَุณْุชَุบِْูุฑُ ุงู„ู„ู‡َ ูˆَุฃَุชُูˆุจُ ุฅِู„َูŠْู‡ِ”.

Astaghfirullaaha wa ‘atoobu ‘ilayhi.

(I seek the forgiveness of Allah and repent to Him.)

Reference: The Prophet (๏ทบ) said, “Whoever does a lot of Istighfar, Allah will provide him a way out of each concern he has, and will solve all his troubles, and will provide him with livelihood from sources that were not known to him.” (Bukhari, Muslim)

“ุฑَุถِูŠุชُ ุจุงู„ู„ู‡ِ ุฑَุจَّุงً، ูˆَุจِุงู„ْุฅِุณْู„َุงู…ِ ุฏِูŠู†ุงً، ูˆَุจِู…ُุญَู…َّุฏٍ ุตَู„َู‰ ุงู„ู„ู‡ُ ุนَู„ِูŠู‡ِ ูˆَุณَู„َّู…َ ู†َุจِูŠَّุงً”.

Radheetu billaahi Rabban, wa bil-‘Islaami deenan, wa bi-Muhammadin Nabiyyan.

(I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, with Islam as my religion and with Muhammad [peace and blessings of Allah be upon him] as my Prophet.)

Reference:

“Allah has promised that anyone who says this three times every morning or evening will be pleased on the Day of Resurrection.” (Ahmad, An-Nasa’i, At-Tirmithi)

Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-hammi wal-แธคuzni wal-‘ajazi wal-kasli wal-bukhli wal-jubni wa แธala’id-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijal.

O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debts and from being overpowered by men.

Children are like fruit, Handle with care.

Children are very Fragile. Moulding their hearts and minds towards the righteous thing is very essential and something to be done carefully.

We as parents, use many methods to discipline our children in the right manner. But, are we using the right methods to do so?

Strictness is important, but that strictness mustn't shrunken the hearts or make them stubborn.
The right measures must be implemented to explain them what's good and what's bad.

Let loose and Hold on. They should be able to understand that you are asking them not to do something that might cause a chaos later on.

We most of the time pat slightly on the child while they do something wrong in order to show them that's is not right. But what happens is, by time they'll get used to it and won't react when u stop them or some might throw back tantrums..or blankly say no! (sometimes it happens with me)

We need to be strong with our words and actions that they understand we're asking them to stop.

I'm going to share a piece of advice which my grandma passed on to my mom and my mom told me.. " If you pat a melon, watermelon or muskmelon every now and then u pass around it, there will come a time it will get loose and shrink, children are just like that, you keep heckling them for every small mistake with pat or slap they will get used to it and it will spoil them more."

Be Kind yet strict with your little ones, balance them at a time. So that they don't hate you or get aggressive but understand you.

- Don't show anger on every first go of the mistake committed

- Listen to them or watch their movement during the scene

- Use a strong yet polite statement

- Be a safe spot for them despite being upset.

- Never Compare, shame or let them feel guilty

- Do not keep beating, patting hard or slight

- Distract their minds away from any mischief they may be doing.

- Don't stay quiet and ignorant so they take advantage of it.

A lesson for me and for all others out there.

How to Get Your Toddler a Peaceful sleep

"Healthy sleep reflects a healthy child."

Just like us adults, its very important for the little humans to get a peaceful sleep in a day, at least 12-14 hours sleep is necessary for them to stay mentally and physically fit.

It gets very frustrating when the child gets cranky while they are put to sleep, and once they fall asleep after the major sleep mission, the silence does make us feel really bad for the emotions they went through and us.

I feel really upset when my little one is really sleepy but turns away from going to bed, although I'm a breastfeeding mom, it keeps him calm for a bit and he starts over again. Yet there are few habits that i follow since his birth that he understands its time for bed at any condition, though its an afternoon nap or a good night sleep. Yes, the struggle is real...but its definitely not for long once they catch a good habit :)

I'd love to share with you all those techniques that help me a lot when I put my little one to sleep, I'm not an expert but a mother in a motherhood journey who learns every new day.

1. A Hot bath,
May it be summer or winter, a good hot bath for the babies/toddlers help them free from any kind of uneasiness and helps them calm down. Do not exceed it for more than 10 min if its given at night.
There may be days your little one wouldn't agree to go to the bathroom, obviously you can make it out from the child's body language. Y
