Children are like fruit, Handle with care.

Children are very Fragile. Moulding their hearts and minds towards the righteous thing is very essential and something to be done carefully.

We as parents, use many methods to discipline our children in the right manner. But, are we using the right methods to do so?

Strictness is important, but that strictness mustn't shrunken the hearts or make them stubborn.
The right measures must be implemented to explain them what's good and what's bad.

Let loose and Hold on. They should be able to understand that you are asking them not to do something that might cause a chaos later on.

We most of the time pat slightly on the child while they do something wrong in order to show them that's is not right. But what happens is, by time they'll get used to it and won't react when u stop them or some might throw back tantrums..or blankly say no! (sometimes it happens with me)

We need to be strong with our words and actions that they understand we're asking them to stop.

I'm going to share a piece of advice which my grandma passed on to my mom and my mom told me.. " If you pat a melon, watermelon or muskmelon every now and then u pass around it, there will come a time it will get loose and shrink, children are just like that, you keep heckling them for every small mistake with pat or slap they will get used to it and it will spoil them more."

Be Kind yet strict with your little ones, balance them at a time. So that they don't hate you or get aggressive but understand you.

- Don't show anger on every first go of the mistake committed

- Listen to them or watch their movement during the scene

- Use a strong yet polite statement

- Be a safe spot for them despite being upset.

- Never Compare, shame or let them feel guilty

- Do not keep beating, patting hard or slight

- Distract their minds away from any mischief they may be doing.

- Don't stay quiet and ignorant so they take advantage of it.

A lesson for me and for all others out there.
